Slow Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage: A Classic St. Patrick’s Day Delight

In a slow cooker, combine the onion, garlic, mustard seeds, black peppercorns, and bay leaves.
Place the corned beef brisket on top of the onion mixture and add water.
Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-7 hours.
Add the potatoes and carrots to the slow cooker, cover and cook on high for an additional hour.
Remove the brisket from the slow cooker and cover with foil to keep warm.
Add the cabbage wedges to the slow cooker and cook on high for another 30-45 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender.
